Here's what you'll be doing

You’ll work on a wide range of projects for clients throughout the Netherlands. You’ll build sites using WordPress and Laravel, work with custom child templates based on your own Figma designs, and deliver code that makes both developers and clients happy. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining websites, online stores, and web applications using WordPress and Laravel
  • Working with custom child templates based on your own Figma designs, not off-the-shelf themes
  • Working with tools such as GitHub, ACF, Gravity Forms, Yoast, and Google Analytics
  • Collaborating with designers and marketers so that technology and strategy reinforce each other
  • Using AI tools effectively to work more efficiently without compromising on quality
  • Helping to develop technical solutions that truly meet a customer’s needs

Who are we looking for?

You don’t have to have all the answers yet, but you’re the kind of person who tackles problems head-on rather than waiting to see what happens. We’re also looking for someone who:

  • Has a college-level education and up to 3 years of work experience as a web developer
  • Has a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with WordPress, preferably also with Laravel
  • Critical of one's own work, both technically and in terms of content
  • is curious about new technologies and AI tools, and actively puts them to use
  • Helder communicates in Dutch and can get by in English

Founder Justin started JKC in 2017 as a hobby. What began as a passion project that took on a life of its own has grown into a professional web agency with offices in Eindhoven and Rotterdam, more than 300 satisfied clients, and a young, close-knit team that enjoys coming to work every day.
