Here's what you'll learn and do

You’ll start with your own introductory assignment: creating a personal portfolio in WordPress, from Figma design to live deployment. This will give you a first-hand look at how we work. After that, you’ll join our team on client projects and will be responsible for, among other things:

  • Building and maintaining websites, online stores, and web applications using WordPress and Laravel
  • Working with custom child templates based on your own Figma designs, not off-the-shelf themes
  • Use professional tools such as GitHub, ACF, Gravity Forms, Yoast, and Google Analytics
  • Use AI wisely to work faster and more effectively, without letting it take over your expertise
  • Learn to understand why you’re building something, not just how

Who are we looking for?

We’re not satisfied until our customers are, and that’s how you should think, too. We’re also looking for someone who:

  • Is pursuing a vocational or college degree in software development or web development, and thinks at the college level
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with WordPress or Laravel is a plus
  • Is curious, takes the initiative, and asks questions when something isn't clear
  • Critical of one's own work, both technically and in terms of content
  • Helder communicates in Dutch and can get by in English

Founder Justin started JKC in 2017 as a hobby. What began as a passion project that took on a life of its own has grown into a professional web agency with offices in Eindhoven and Rotterdam, more than 300 satisfied clients, and a young, close-knit team that enjoys coming to work every day.
