Green Gas and Liquids: carbon capture explained in four languages

A cleantech engineer for CO2 and biogas

Green Gas and Liquids, based in Alphen aan den Rijn, builds process technology for carbon capture and biogas upgrading. Their systems take CO2 and sulphur out of industrial gas streams, and the process chemistry and the engineering both sit in house.

That is a technical product sold to a technical buyer, in four language markets at once. Before anyone gets in touch, the website has to explain the chemistry, the applications and where the systems already run.

A page per solution, in every language

We built the site on WordPress with our own bootscore base theme, and set it up so the same content runs in English, Dutch, German and French through TranslatePress.

The structure follows the way the company sells. There is a page per solution, a page per proprietary technology, and a page per industry that produces the gas streams. The reference installations sit behind that as proof.

  • One WordPress site serving English, Dutch, German and French.
  • A page per solution: carbon capture and liquefaction, de-sulphurization, biogas upgrading and the flue gas condenser.
  • Pages for the Galloxol, Laminol and Hybrisol technologies.
  • Industry pages for horticulture, food, biogas, chemicals, waste management and more.
  • A CO2 Fit Check that sends a visitor to the solution for their own industry.

The Fit Check is the part that turns a technical catalog into the start of a conversation.

The result

The site is live in four languages. The solutions, the technologies and the reference installations each have their own pages, with a blog, an events overview, an FAQ and a careers section around them.

A visitor who does not know which system fits starts with the CO2 Fit Check and picks their industry. Automations and search visibility work were part of the same project, alongside the build.
