Content calendar for 2025

You may have an abundance of ideas, which can make a content calendar for your social media seem unnecessary. Even so, it is smart to include the special days of 2025 in your planning. This goes further than simply responding to current events or filling empty moments when you have no inspiration for your posts. By naming the specific days that matter within your industry, you increase your relevance for your audience. We have put together an overview of relevant special days for every industry in 2025. So consult our content calendar for 2025 and mark these days for your social media activities.

Look for the special days in your own industry

There is something special to celebrate almost every day, and your sector has specific days that matter a great deal too. For us, in the web development industry for example, the following days are special:

  • Data Privacy Day on January 28
  • Safer Internet Day on February 11
  • System Administrator Appreciation Day on July 25
  • World Wide Web Day on August 1
  • The founding of Google on September 4 (in 1998)

Adjust both your text and your visuals

You can of course fill your text with puns and playful references, but it is worth remembering that on social media visual content is just as important when you work with a content calendar for 2025. So don’t focus only on the text during special days, but pay attention to visual elements as well. Give your profile picture a festive touch during Christmas or Easter, for example. Here are a few examples of our own adjusted profile pictures.
