The people behind JKC

Justin has been building websites and webshops for businesses since 2015, which is more than ten years of experience by now. He started his career as a developer at internet agencies and a SaaS company before founding JKC Media. Having built the work himself and now setting the strategy makes him the translation between technology and business: he understands what a developer needs and what a client really means.

He trained in software development and Business IT & Management, and is currently taking a pre-master in Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His strongest side: tight project management, change and implementation management, and a sharp commercial strategy. As the first point of contact he explains how JKC works and what a site can mean for your business, and he stays closely involved in the development of every website and webshop.

Dylan is the graphic designer on our team. He’s studying Communication & Multimedia Design and gets genuinely excited about making great designs. At JKC, he dives into that fully: think designing a new website or a fresh brand identity for our clients. Logos, business cards and other print work: Dylan gives your company a brand-new look.

Rik found out in secondary school that building websites was something he genuinely enjoyed. It is the creative side that appeals to him most: going from nothing to a complete design, one whole that says the right thing about a company. Doing that alongside other developers, and wanting to learn more about WordPress, writing plugins and programming languages, is what brought him to our team. He does the work alongside his Information Science degree at Utrecht University. And yes: he is a big PSV fan.

Tutai is a developer on our team. He recently finished his Software Development studies and has started a part-time ICT degree at Fontys. He has a strong interest in making creative and dynamic websites and is developing that further in his work at JKC. With an eye for detail he makes sure every website he builds is not only good to look at, but technically sound as well.

Shana graduated in industrial information and digital design. At work she likes to spend her time on the creative side of things and on learning the ins and outs of WordPress. What appeals to her about building websites is the complexity of it: it is more than dragging a few blocks around. You build it up from nothing, and along the way you watch the structure, the plugins, the responsiveness and the SEO. And when a site is finished, it is always good to see what you made out on the web.

Joep is our part-time developer, with a fresh eye and plenty of appetite to build. He dives into WordPress and front-end techniques with enthusiasm and enjoys turning ideas into tidy, easy-to-use websites. In projects he works closely with the rest of the team, so he gets to know the whole flow from sketch to launch and grows a little further as a developer with every project.
