What often plays out
-
Fitment as the deciding factor: make, model, trim, year — and none of it on the product page.
-
Custom work, so a quote is impossible until you know which vehicle you are looking at.
-
OEM numbers, certifications and datasheets that a buyer needs before they will even ask.
-
Two ways in that both have to work: by the vehicle, and by the trade the vehicle is used for.
Buyers do not search for your product, they search for what fits their vehicle
We build the catalogue around identification. Pages per make and per application, product pages that carry fitment, OEM number, capacity, material and dimensions, with certificates and datasheets as downloads on the product itself. See websites and webshops.
Then the quote request collects what a quote actually needs. Make, model, trim and year first, then the dimensions, then the message, so a request arrives priceable instead of as an opening question. See automation & AI and system integrations.
Where the product is engineered per vehicle, a checkout is the wrong ending. We use a shop platform for the catalogue and replace the cart with a quote route. And where the brand has to carry the same engineering claim as the product, we design it. See brand identity.
To be clear about who this is for: our automotive work is on the supply side — upfitters, part makers, tank and system builders. If you run a dealership or a workshop, your problem is mostly local findability and getting a car into the diary. That is a different build, and worth its own conversation.
Client example
Like at HEBI in Boskoop, where a visitor reaches their own van, their own trade and their own supplier brand within two clicks, and the quote request that follows already carries the make, model, trim, year and the cargo dimensions. Or T-Core Solutions, with more than 170 tanks findable by OEM number or by what they fit, in four languages, each product page ending in a quote request instead of a cart. And SAG New Technologies, whose aluminium tank systems sell to vehicle manufacturers and builders across Europe from one installation in five languages, with a documentation library of over 110 documents.
