Kendem: more top candidates and clients for finance vacancies

Kendem recruits and selects finance professionals, from management roles such as finance directors to operational roles such as administrative staff. “We have three lines of business,” says Andy Vereggen, Managing Partner at Kendem. “Executive search covers management and board positions, interim vacancies are for temporary assignments and support, and staffing is the operational side of finance.”

How did Kendem and JKC meet? We are both based in the Donna building in Eindhoven Strijp-S. “We ran into Justin at a building event, he was the new tenant. Since JKC builds websites and we needed one, the groundwork was laid quickly.”

Kendem had two websites: one about the company itself and one specifically for staffing. Both were dated and no longer matched Kendem’s professionalism. Andy: “We wanted to bring those two sites together into one clear, overarching website. It needed a new coat of paint too, in look and feel as well as in technology, plus a bit of findability.”

The website is Kendem’s calling card online, so a fresh, businesslike design fit for 2025 was a must. “Our website is an important point of contact: this is where people look for confirmation of who they will be sitting down with. The site has to convey who we are.” More movement was added as well, which the old sites lacked. “Those interactive elements give it a fresh character, and we are very happy with that.” The new website also speeds up recruitment through a custom integration with Kendem’s ATS, Bullhorn, which processes vacancies automatically.

How did the collaboration go? “JKC is a good team to work with,” Andy says. “Plenty of ideas get shared, communication is quick and clear, and we worked to a proper schedule. In short, a pleasant collaboration with an excellent result.”
