A free webshop scan, along one fixed set
The same four parts as the website scan, weighted for a shop. More attention to the route to checkout, to payment, and to the European rules for selling to consumers. Concrete steps back — not automatically a rebuild.

-
Weighted for a shop
The same fixed set, different weights. Payment, consumer rights, product presentation and the route to checkout carry more here than on a brochure site.
-
Free, and no prices in the report
No quote attached and no pitch deck. If a next step makes sense, we say so after we have spoken.
-
Rebuilding is an option, not the answer
A shop that already sells usually needs sharper pages and a shorter checkout, not a new platform.
What we check on every webshop
-
Your customer and the route to checkout
We start here. Who buys from you, what they were comparing, and where they drop out. We walk the whole route as that person: search, product page, cart, checkout, and the confirmation that follows.
-
Findability in Google and in AI answers
Category and product pages that can actually rank, the terms your buyers use, how your range reads to AI assistants that answer a buying question without a click, and which AI crawlers your robots.txt lets in.
-
Functionality: speed, accessibility, devices
Loading speed on category and product pages under a real catalogue, not on the homepage. Keyboard and screen-reader basics against WCAG 2.1 AA, the level the European rules point at. And a checkout that works one-handed on a phone.
-
Rules, and this is where a shop carries more
Cookie consent and Google Consent Mode, the GDPR, and the European consumer rules a shop has to meet: the fourteen-day right of withdrawal and how you state it, price-reduction claims, and the product information a buyer must be able to see. Plus what your payment providers expect from your checkout.
What weighs heavier on a webshop
A brochure site can be wrong and still cost you only a missed enquiry. A shop that is wrong takes money, holds stock, and carries obligations towards the person who paid.
So three things get more weight in the webshop scan. First, the route to checkout, because that is where revenue disappears in measurable steps. Second, the rules, because the European consumer rules for selling online are specific and enforceable: how you state the right of withdrawal, how you may present a price reduction, and what a buyer has to be able to find about a product before ordering. Third, payment: which methods your buyer expects in your market, what your checkout does when a payment fails, and whether getting money back is as easy as spending it.
The outcome is not automatically a new webshop
A free scan from an agency is easy to distrust, and the reason is usually the same: people expect a document that concludes they need a new shop.
Not here. A shop that already takes orders rarely needs a new platform. What it usually needs is sharper category and product pages, fewer steps to checkout, a consent banner that does not blind your own measurement, and two or three legal texts brought up to date. Sometimes the useful part of the report is not a task but a different angle: you could also approach this like that.
If we do think moving platform is the cheapest way to get what you want, we say so and show the reasoning. And if we think your shop is fine and the money belongs in advertising or in your supply chain, we say that too.
Who this is for
Startups selling their first real volume, and established small and mid-sized retailers and brands whose shop carries the business. That is who this scan is written for: shops where a wrong call costs real revenue.
We are not the cheapest option and we do not try to be. If the lowest possible price is what you are after, another party will serve you better than we will.

Questions about the webshop scan
A written report along the four fixed parts, weighted for a shop: your customer and the route to checkout, findability, functionality, and the rules. Per part: what we found, what it costs you, and what we would do about it — ordered so you can start at the top.
Rarely, and only with the reasoning attached. A shop that already takes orders usually needs sharper pages and a shorter checkout rather than a new platform. When we do think moving platform is the cheapest route to what you want, we show why.
Any shop we can reach and order from: WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, Lightspeed, CCV Shop, or a custom build. The fixed set is about your customer, your findability, your functionality and your obligations, and none of that changes with the platform. Where the platform limits what you can fix, we say so.
We check the visible things that a buyer and a regulator both see: your cookie banner and how consent is handled, your privacy statement against what the page really loads, how you state the right of withdrawal and returns, how price reductions are presented, and what product information you show. That is a practical check by digital specialists, not legal advice — where something looks risky we say so and advise you to have it confirmed by a lawyer.
No. We walk the route as a customer would, and we do not place a real order without asking you first. Read access to your analytics or your shop statistics makes the drop-out part of the report much sharper, so we ask for it — but the scan works without it.
The scan examines what you already have and how it performs. The Growth Check looks at the business: where you stand, where you want to be, and what it takes to get there. If you are not sure which fits your question, ask us — we will point you at the right one rather than sell you both.
