A show jumping stable with a worldwide audience
Stal Tops in Valkenswaard breeds and trains sport horses and has been doing it for decades. Riders, buyers and breeders come from all over the world for the horses, the training and the events the stable hosts.
An audience like that arrives in English, on a phone, looking for one of three things: a horse, the auction, or the way to reach the stable. The site had to answer that, and it had to be there in time for the season.
What we did
We built the site in English around the three things visitors come for, and delivered it in three and a half weeks.
The horses are the content. Each stallion has its own entry with pedigree, year of birth, color and studbook, so a buyer can read the paper without asking for it first.
- A stallion overview with pedigree, year of birth, color and studbook per horse.
- An auction page, with the bidding platform one click away.
- A news section for auction announcements and results in the ring.
- A newsletter signup that asks for a name and an email address, nothing more.
- One English site, built to be read on a phone.
The stallion pages are the part buyers actually come for.
The result
The site went live three and a half weeks after the start. It is what Stal Tops points at now: the stallions with their pedigrees, the news, and a banner at the top of every page for the next Tops International Auction that takes the visitor straight to the bidding platform.
Announcing an auction is a matter of publishing it, and a buyer who lands on a horse gets the details in the same place.
